Portal:Ireland[edit]

The portal was recently redesigned after lying dormant for a long time. Feed back on this would be appreciated. The plan is to update the selected article, did you know, selected picture and two-three times per week. Ambition is to make it a featured portal quite quickly. Any comments would be welcome. --sony-youthpléigh 00:54, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All boxes (Intro, Categories, Featured articles, Related Wikimedia projects, Related portals, Contribute) need the "edit" link. The top of the portal page has usually "Arts · Biography · Geography · History · Mathematics · Philosophy · Science · Society · Technology" portal links. "Did you know..." information ends with a "?". feydey 07:39, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, feyday. I've changed the DYKs and added the browsebar. I deliberately left an edit control off the "not-updated-often" elements, the idea with that was because they would be updated automatically from elsewhere (so far though only the "Featured articles" section really is). I can see your point though and will put them back in. --sony-youthpléigh 14:49, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
On the advice of another editor, I've removed the edit links again from the "not-updated-often" elements. --sony-youthpléigh 19:29, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
