  • Requesting merge of User:MoonSwan999/sandbox into The Liverpool Herald to maintain editing history of my sandbox. This sandbox was created as part of an editing workshop today WP:GLAM/SLNSW and other people offsite assisted in it. We didn't know that the article already existed at the start. So, the content in the sandbox can overwrite the whole content of the article, but we don't want to lose the edit history of either. Please ask user:Wittylama if there's any problem. Sincerely, MoonSwan999 (talk) 04:50, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Yes, please can an admin history merge the sandbox into the article? We took a copy into the sandbox and edited it there with the intent to dump it back at the end, but in the end multiple editors were involved in the sandbox editing. By the way, well done finding this page MoonSwan999! --99of9 (talk) 03:38, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
Done technically the wrong venue use {{histmerge}} --Salix (talk): 09:03, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
Yes, that's why I thought I'd better explain it. But finding this is not bad for a beginner. Thanks. --99of9 (talk) 09:10, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Moot Redirect and merger has already taken place through "Move Request" process. GenQuest (talk) 19:31, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

  • Women's Sevens World Cup should be integrated with 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens#Women’s. Miodzio3 (talk) 09:45, 31 July 2012 (UTC) The first one could be also used for women's tournament at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens. Miodzio3 (talk) 06:31, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Jazzy Jordan is the Executive Vice President of Verity Gospel Music Group. The entire Jazzy Jordan article consists of 1) Jordan's résumé (including career accomplishments and "early life"), 2) two of Jordan's personal ventures ("Jordan Entertainment Group", which never got off the ground, and a one-year Indy 500 car co-ownership), and 3) successful VGMG albums that occurred while Jordan was with the company. This person, in my opinion, is entirely non-notable. A deletion discussion a year ago never gained any traction -- because no one cared enough about the article to bother even starting a talk page. • There is a suggestion since December 2008 on the Joaquin Trincado Mateo talk page to merge the EMECU article. EMECU is a single paragraph without any references. I concur with this recommendation and have created the respective tags, but would appreciate it if someone more skilled would complete the process. Thank you.      Done Redirected due to lack of unique content. Ego White Tray (talk) 02:13, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
  • European Sevens Championship and Sevens grand prix series - two articles on the same subject. Miodzio3 (talk) 08:42, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

  • Anna Månsdotter and Yngsjö murder - An IP user recently merged the two articles (and did it pretty well), but this was soon reverted by User:BabbaQ because nothing was discussed first. However, after seeing how the merged article looks like, I think it is a good idea to merge them again. The articles have almost the same information and are not that long in length. In fact, very little is known about Mrs. Mansdotter other than her involvement in Yngsjo's murder. Had it not been for this, no one would know who she is today. Because both articles have blank talk pages and a low number of edits since their creation, starting a discussion would be pointless since few people are monitoring them. This is a case where merging through WP:Bold is an effective solution. The Legendary Ranger (talk) 17:43, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Merge restored I wholeheartedly agree with everything above and have restored the merge. See WP:Bureaucracy, WP:Bold and WP:IAR for rationale for this well-done merge. Ego White Tray (talk) 03:46, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

• I need help moving the Controversy section of the Joan Juliet Buck into either the Asma al-Assad article and/or the Criticism section of Vogue. It overwhelms the profile. Buck seems to have been commissioned for the piece by Vogue, al-Assad's husband is responsible for many atrocities in his own county, and these points that are lost by keeping it in under Joan Juliet Buck.--Aichikawa (talk) 18:17, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Essentially, what we are trying to do here is create a new master page, or super-categorisation, for all two cylinder engines leading to sub- or child pages for individual configurations.

The intention here is to resolve a problem that has arisen relating to the three main groups of 'non-V' or 'non-flat' twins, i.e. transverse or parallel twins, inline or longitudinal twins, and tandem twins. At present three configurations are being shoehorned into a single article called "Straight-two engine", which arguably is a far more obscure and minor terminology for some engine configurations and not used widely by manufacturers. The previously unreferenced topic being started by a non-native English speaker, sometime ago and the preponderance of references suggesting this does not meet Wikipedia naming conventions, as per WP:NAME; Recognizability, Naturalness, Precision, Conciseness, Consistency, English language use etc.
The idea is as sufficient content arises, new child page can be developed off the new parent. --Bridge Boy (talk) 19:11, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Please note that Bridge Boy has been blocked indefinitely for disruptive editing, etc. It is generally held by involved editors that this merger proposal was an element of his disruptiveness (is that a word?). I suggest that these merger talks be closed with the decision not to merge. Thank you. Ebikeguy (talk) 22:55, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
