[edit]Microsoft Office protected view
[edit]Is it possible to disable Protected View permanently for an individual file? It's easy to find instructions online on how to disable the feature entirely, but that would mean that any web-originated file is opened without warning. I often work with a few specific web-originated files, and I've edited them lots of times, so I know that they're safe, but I still have to turn off Protected View each time I open them, and it would be nice to be able to skip that step. - Well, if you exit protected view and then save the file, that's supposed to be the end of it. When that doesn't work (because Microsoft), I generally start a new file, then copy the contents of the original to that.
