What exact year is Haruko's Vespa? All the articles seem to be vague on that...

Can you be sure that the cartoon accurately depicts a specific model? —Tamfang 05:52, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's probably futuristic since Wikipedia says it seems compatible with Gundam parts [1]...or maybe it's alien like her. [2] --JDitto 22:06, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It close resembles the 180ss model. [3] --24.249.108.133 16:54, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How much can the whole makeover cost on "Extreme Makeover" and do the company pay your bills while your away?

[edit]

Hi im curious as to how much a normal makeover would cost on "Extreme Makeover" and who pays the bills for the person while they are away receiving their makeover?Any help will be appreciated.

At the risk of being wrong in my assumption I understood that the show paid the cost of the make-over, with presumably certain firms providing things free in exchange of product placement (http://www.businessweek.com/the_thread/brandnewday/archives/2005/04/extreme_makeove.html). ny156uk 17:19, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other thoughts about Family Guy in Middle East and Africa

[edit]

Can you please answer me about why Family Guy not shows in Middle East and Africa. Can I receive it only in MBC while in Middle East and Africa?

In order to show it, the television stations need to find advertisers to pay for it. The advertisers have to believe that their target audience will watch it. Apparently, the advertisers do not believe their target audience will watch it. -- Kainaw(what?) 16:59, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, many nations have banned the show due to its mocking of certain cultures. This is true of some Middle Eastern countries after an episode ran mocking Osama Bin Laden. Other countries that have banned Family Guy outright are: Armenia, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Iran, Thailand, Belarus, South Africa, Egypt, Philippines, Serbia and Montenegro, Vietnam, Taiwan, People’s Republic of China (PRC), Albania, and South Korea.--Sethacus 19:31, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I remember having a good chuckle when I read that South Korea had banned it, as IIRC that's where it's animated. Cyraan 20:22, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I remember seeing a news bit about "banned television" in the Muslim world. They showed neighborhoods where every house had a satellite dish so they could pick up all the banned shows. It was well-known to be illegal to use a satellite dish, but since everyone was doing it, it wasn't an enforced law. -- Kainaw(what?) 00:58, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tori Amos Lyrics

[edit]

I was wondering if anyone on here has the CD "Where's Neil When You Need Him?" I'm looking for the lyrics to the last song on the album, Sister Named Desire by Tori Amos. I'm 90% sure the lyrics online are wrong, since I remember seeing the booklet and lyrics within once, and it said 'bibles' in one line and 'meows' in another, and those words aren't in any online lyrics I can find.

Can anyone confirm or deny the OL lyrics being wrong, and maybe give me a corrected copy? Thanks in advance. 75.161.133.10 20:44, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
