Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland

[edit]

I was wondering why the game was rated 12+. I know that it's for sex and violence, but what's so violent about it and what are the sexual parts?--76.176.130.141 (talk) 01:00, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is one of the problems I have with the PEGI ratings system. PEGI is a self-declaration scheme, the publisher ticks boxes to say what is in the game and a rating is issued accordingly. A search on PEGI's site reveals that Tingle has violence and sex or discussion of sexual themes. At least with the BBFC there is a written report about the game pointing out particular aspects of note that contributed to the final rating decision - but that's just my general opinion. - X201 (talk) 09:24, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

But do you know what was in the game that made it get those rating descriptions?--76.176.130.141 (talk) 16:03, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. Sorry. PEGI don't have detailed info on their site. - X201 (talk) 15:17, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does anybody know?--76.176.130.141 (talk) 23:25, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Antonin Dolohov (moved from Humanities Desk)

[edit]

He's a Harry Potter's character. He's beautiful!!... Do you know actor's name? Ahmed987147 (talk) 01:11, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions about actors and roles are better asked on the Entertainment desk. However, I can't find any mention on the Internet of Antonin Dolohov appearing in either the movie or the video game of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. In particular, the IMDB has no entry for this character in either adaptation or anything else. --Anonymous, 02:24 UTC, April 3, 2008.
According to Death Eater#Antonin Dolohov he is apparently only a book character. Adam Bishop (talk) 05:21, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
IMDb does credit several unnamed "death eater"s in Order of the Phoenix though. Perhaps one of these actors will be identified as Dolohov in a future movie. FiggyBee (talk) 05:43, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. The unnamed death eaters are Richard Cubison, Peter Best, Tav MacDougall and Richard Trinder, according to this. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 17:56, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

fam guy2

[edit]

there is a family guy episode where peter says its like giving larra flynn boyle heat. Then she's under her fat belly. Is it coz she is thin. What were the producers getting at? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.220.225.250 (talk) 11:55, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anorexic people commonly have trouble staying warm. The joke was implying that she was anorexic. -- kainaw 12:42, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Family Guy is also a big user of Surreal humour and Non sequiturs - there may be no "meaning" to it, they might have just thought that the concept of a fat man being employed to keep someone warm was funny. -- 128.104.112.85 (talk) 22:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Can you use the Nintendo GameCube Microphone on a Wii? 58.168.128.66 (talk) 12:20, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately not. According to this, however, Nintendo may plan to bring a Wii microphone out in the future. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 17:53, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There's already a microphone as part of Boogie (video game). --Mdwyer (talk) 22:31, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bollywood films and music

[edit]

Can anyone recommend other songs/artists that sound like Mohammed Rafi and his Jaan Pehechaan Ho? And which Bollywood films are considered as classics by Bollywood fans? Never mind point of view here, I want recommendations from the heart. --Yamanbaiia(free hugs!) 20:09, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Artists like Kishore Kumar and Rafi are considered as some of the greats among the male singers. Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle's renditions are great too. Music composers like R. D. Burman are considered legendary and hence try looking around on their article pages. You might find good information. Furthermore, Music India Online is one nice repository of Indian songs (not just Hindi). As far as films are considered, Mother India is one classic and besides that you might want to try watching Mughal-e-Azam. Hope this helps. Mspraveen (talk) 11:28, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
