February 29

[edit]

How many times is said the word "Around the World" during the song? David Pro (talk) 00:51, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's right there in the article: "The phrase occurs 144 times in the album version and 80 times in the radio edit." --jh51681 (talk) 06:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any actors and actresses that are Canadian and born in1990? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Don Mustafa (talkcontribs) 01:15, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

American lawyer sitcom?

[edit]

A friend of mine is trying to find a show she saw a while back, possibly in the '80s or '90s but maybe older. It starred a lawyer with a dumb blonde wife, and also featured their respective mothers-in-law. One scene she can recall featured the wife doing yoga. I know it's a long shot, but if anyone knows what this might be that would be great! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.238.220.102 (talk) 04:36, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In all respects except the word "dumb", I would say this must be Dharma and Greg. What Dharma was was unconventional. --Anonymous, 07:53 UTC, February 29, 2008.

Licence of TV Tropes

[edit]

What is the licence of TV tropes Wiki? Is Wikipedia- compatible?155.210.223.136 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 15:47, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

'Peaches'

[edit]

Notoriously, the Stranglers' Peaches is not about fruit. But when Hugh Cornwell sings that he's "looking at the peaches", what does he actually mean? Is the word meant to refer to girls' bottoms, or just girls, or something else? --Richardrj talk email 15:51, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think he was referring to female beach visitors in general, no body part in particular. See WordNet, for example: "a very attractive or seductive looking woman". ---Sluzzelin talk 16:53, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Dammit I'm going to have that bass line stuck in my head for the rest of the day now :/ Grutness...wha? 23:52, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for a Movie

[edit]

I do not believe it has come out yet, but it is recent, and the trailer shows three boys getting letters telling them to join the army and the film is about their reactions to going to war. Any ideas? BioYu-Gi! (talk) 18:51, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Day Zero fits your description. ---Sluzzelin talk 19:07, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Weird Music Video

[edit]

I was watching MTV recently and I saw a list of concert dates on the screen and in the background there was a music video that started off with a guy tossing and turning in bed and then a bunch of shots of him suspended in midair in what looked liked a city. I think the name of the person or band who did that song was named Sia, because that's what it said at the top of the box that listed the concert dates. Can anyone tell me what the name of the song was?

According to the Cosas del Amor article, a video for the track "Ruleta Rusa" was filmed and the song was released as a promo single in Argentina. Can someone give me a external link to the video for "Ruleta Rusa"? David Pro (talk) 23:24, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

[edit]

I can't to identify from which film is this photo of Helena Bonham Carter. Can someone tell me from which film it is? David Pro (talk) 23:27, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wings of the Dove? Maybe?? --70.167.58.6 (talk) 23:51, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's Lucy Honeychurch from A Room with a View. ---Sluzzelin talk 13:57, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I'm uncertain. This blog says it is, but she doesn't necessarily look twenty years old in the photo. The blogger may be wrong. ---Sluzzelin talk 14:03, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think that this photo is from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein according to this thread in IMDB. David Pro (talk) 22:04, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That seems more likely. By the way, these Bonham Carter photo questions reminds me how much she looks like a young Geneviève Bujold, at least to me. Compare them as Anne Boleyn, for example, here and here. —Kevin Myers 13:33, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
According to this website, the photo is officially from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. David Pro (talk) 21:27, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
