I've moved this question to the Science reference desk, where it's more likely to get a good answer. --Richardrj talk email 07:30, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese Events in London

[edit]

Hello there,

Would anyone be able to tell me of either some regular events or of a calendar of sporadic events promoting Japanese language/culture/etc in London? Or of some where simply people can go and meet Japanese people. I have just moved back to the UK after 2 years there and am really keen to make some new Japanese friends.

Any ideas?

Try reading this [1] site or contacting the establishment directly. 87.81.230.195 (talk) 15:14, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Brandman University

[edit]

Knowing I would get the quickest response through this page, anyone seen the Brandman University commercial?

150 years is a long time

A seed grows into a giant
A village rises into a city
And universities get better at what they're supposed to do-

teach.

Does anyone know what the fairly common song in the background is? 99.20.133.159 (talk) 13:58, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial help

[edit]

A couple of years one of the tax assistant companies (H&R block, Hewitt Jackson, etc) ran a commercial that featured a bunch of people sitting in a room reading over the newly passed amendments to the tax code. Does anyone know where I can find that commercial? 129.108.66.250 (talk) 17:11, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It might be on YouTube but if it didn't win any awards or if it wasn't funny or interesting in some way, it's likely not on the net anywhere. Dismas|(talk) 06:05, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

theme from "Trauma"

[edit]

I heard the theme music from Trauma. It sounds similar to a song done by Bon Jovi. What's the title of the theme music? Is it available for purchase?69.203.157.50 (talk) 22:20, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Its title is simply "Trauma Main Title Theme" (how original), and it was composed by Bear McCreary. Regards, decltype (talk) 15:26, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
