"answer play"

[edit]

I saw or read somewhere that there might be an "answer play" to The Vagina Monologues. That one might be The Penis Monologues. Is that true? If yes, what's it all about?24.90.204.234 (talk) 08:41, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There's various works with that title. Robert Watts wrote a show called The Penis Monologues: Men Speak that played off-Broadway. The title is fairly self-explanatory - it's about men talking about sex, masturbation, penises, etc. Various stand-up comedians have also used the title or variations, such as Nigel Williams. Googling also throws up Dick Cavett, but I don't think that's right. --Colapeninsula (talk) 10:04, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The first one you've mentioned is the one I'm referring to. Thank you so much.24.90.204.234 (talk) 14:31, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Marvin Gaye "Sexual Healing" live

[edit]

I wonder if anyone knows when and where this live version of "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye was recorded. It's was probably recorded during his North American tour in 1983, made sometime between the original recording of the song in 1982 and Marvin Gaye's death in 1984. I have several questions: When was it released, is there a video to go with it, what does he mean when he talkes about Prince during the performance, and who is the announcer at the end? Cheers. P. I can't answer all your questions, but the ~10-minute length seems to indicate that it's the same version found on the CD Marvin Gaye: The Concert Anthology, which was recorded on the 1983 North American tour. The CD's booklet of "extensive liner notes" by Athan Maroulis may contain information about the where and when of the performance. Deor (talk) 18:28, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Again Simpsons

[edit]

Hello. I'm looking for a Simpsons episode, where Barney Gumble said something like "I'm a drunker and I don't need to know how I do things" after Moe Szyslak threw him several times from Tavern. Does somebody knows? I want to watch that episode again but I cant find it :( --84.245.231.134 (talk) 17:53, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would guess Days of Wine and D'oh'ses, where Barney quits drinking and learns to fly a helicopter (but that doesn't really match your description or quote, so maybe not). Adam Bishop (talk) 18:26, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, it wasn't that episode.--84.245.231.134 (talk) 19:13, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's The Seemingly Never-Ending Story, and the line is " I'm a drunk. I don't know nothin' 'bout how I do anything." Deor (talk) 19:44, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that is the right one. Big thanks :) --84.245.231.134 (talk) 20:09, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
