different Oceanic livery

[edit]

Recently, I watched a re-run of Castle. Most of the episode took place on an Oceanic Airlines flight. The aircraft's exteriors had a different Oceanic livery, unlike the two famous ones. Are there any images of that new livery somewhere on the Internet?2604:2000:7113:9D00:4DEA:A74A:9F1A:90C (talk) 01:41, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Could it be this one? image link   → Michael J    03:56, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You're close. The livery was more white and the lettering was blue.2604:2000:7113:9D00:4DEA:A74A:9F1A:90C (talk) 07:03, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It might not have been a real Oceanic plane - they could have found an old plane for filming, and painted it up to look similar, as an exact copy might have run into legal problems. 86.191.126.192 (talk) 07:33, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You do realize that Oceanic is a fake airline used specifically to avoid any such problems, right? Rojomoke (talk) 17:37, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously they ditched the old livery to minimize the association with Flight 815. Yeah, that's it. Clarityfiend (talk) 22:47, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, I'm well aware Oceanic is a fictional airline.2604:2000:7113:9D00:B81E:C008:E611:FADF (talk) 22:48, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe this or this or this or this? Must be one of those.    → Michael J    16:30, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The first and last one is about close. The second one is almost similar to the one in Executive Decision. The third one was used in Lost.2604:2000:7113:9D00:B81E:C008:E611:FADF (talk) 22:48, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Tracy Beaker Returns - Why 3 series'?

[edit]

Why were there three series' of Tracy Beaker Returns? 86.130.115.252 (talk) 17:32, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Because the people who were responsible for making the show decided to do so? --Jayron32 02:12, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This is speculative Original Research, but by the end of the 3rd series (which was itself a spin-off from The Story of Tracy Beaker), the actor Dani Harmer who played Tracy Beaker was around 23 years old. Since this is a series specifically made for children, the Tracy Beaker character would have been getting too old to appeal to the target audience. By seguing into a further spin off, The Dumping Ground, which began in 2013 and does not include the Tracy Beaker character, the Producers could "re-boot" using younger central characters.
It's also possible that after 2012, Dani Harmer was no longer available to play the role (or didn't want to), and as some of the audience might be confused by the use of a different actor (this isn't Doctor Who, after all) the character had to be retired. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 185.74.232.130 (talk) 13:40, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In the final episode of the last series, what was the reason of Tracy leaving the Dumping Ground? 86.130.115.252 (talk) 18:07, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If it wasn't explained in the TV show, then it's unknown. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots20:21, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
However as the IP editor is in the UK, and as that particular episode has been on CBBC recently, they can watch it on the BBC iPlayer anytime in the next 29 days and find out. (29 days as of time of writing) And as I am not in the UK, I am geo-blocked from watching, so no spoilers from me then ) FlowerpotmaN·(t) 14:13, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

All episodes are on YouTube. 86.130.115.252 (talk) 16:26, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Of course they are, but they shouldn't be and I wouldn't want to link to them; anyway, watch the episode (S3 ep 13 I think), and let us know how you get on with it. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 01:11, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to the wikia site, she became qualified care worker and was leaving for a new care working job. 86.130.115.252 (talk) 18:56, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Do they have a source, or were they just speculating? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots00:11, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
