Alternative to Star Trek on-line PC video game[edit]

I'm looking for something alike (or the same thing on CD) the entitled game, which allows me to make, create, modify, amend spaceship(s). Can someone help me please? -- Apostle (talk) 04:36, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this is something you would be interested in, but there's a computer language named Euphoria, and they have a demo application game called "Langwar", which is quite obviously a Star Trek game that's been modified (the ship type names were changed to names of computer programming languages). They provide the full source code. I made the following changes:

1) Changed some ship shapes.

2) Changed the ship names back to Enterprise, Tholians, Klingon Battle Cruiser/Bird-of-Prey/Scout, and Romulans.

3) Improved explosion graphics.

4) Made a more challenging level of play, with more, faster and smarter enemy ships.

Note that the graphics are rather basic. I believe it only has 16 colors, and uses low-res 2D graphics (top view). But, it's an interesting game and I occasionally play it still. The most interesting part is how each race of aliens has different strategies. Some have cloaking devices, some try to get a truce with the Federation, then violate it when it's to their advantage, one race is so cantankerous they will fire on each other if they get in each other's way (and you try to make sure this happens). It can run in Windows 98, so it doesn't need much of an O/S. (It had some problem running on Windows XP, but disabling the sound fixed it.) Combat flight simulator[edit]

Peeps, I sought a game that consist all sort of planes available in the world till to date, something like World of Tanks game. - I'm guessing that this consists all the tanks available - I'm currently waiting to receive it. Tracy Beaker: The Movie of Me - Tracy throwing drink at her mother[edit]

No, but the authors of the books or screenplay can be asked what they envision the motivation to be. Or perhaps the character described their motivation elsewhere. We shouldn't make a blanket statement that the (fictional) motivation of fictional characters can never be known. But you typically require a source to support my position despite not providing one to support your position, so look at Edgar Allen Poe's The Cask of Amontillado, where revenge over a perceived insult is clearly the motivation of the fictional character. To add a bit more, method acting requires not only that the author have a motivation in mind for their fictional characters, but that the actors portraying those characters also be aware of that motivation and be able to replicate it. StuRat (talk) 17:52, 7 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In movies and TV shows, a glass of water (or whatever is on hand) is often thrown in the face of someone who has fainted in order to "snap them out of it". This might have been the reason. Shocked, Carly says that Tracy never behaved like that when she was living with her and Duke says that was a very long time ago. When asked what does he mean by that, he says that Tracy has feelings. Then she tells him to see where she got that attitude from. The kids say that Tracy always said that her mother would come back for her, one day. Then, Tracy says that her whole life, she's been dreaming that her mother would arrive at the Dumping Ground and take her home with her. Would that be the reason?
