All World Cup penalties ever, but excluding shootouts

Hi all. Per my count, a total of 900 games have been played at all FIFA World Cups ever. Is there a site in which somebody listed all penalty kicks ever taken, both scored and missed? I'm not looking for penalty shootouts, only spot kicks taken in regular and extra time, respectively. Splićanin (talk) 01:09, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sports stats produced in a click

First of all, I'm sorry to post back-to-back questions. I did contemplate asking Jayron32 only, but figured this exact question may interest others too. Watching the big 4 North American sports, I can't help but admire the obscure yet impressive stats which appear on screen in a record time. Say, Lightning produce a memorable comeback victory having been down two goals 3:47 before the end because of a reckless major penalty to the opposition during which they scored three unanswered goals in regulation. I'm absolutely certain that the ticker would say "First team to overcome a 2-goal deficit in last 3:47". What does the statistician have to do in order to produce it? The Sports Reference sites mentioned above have a feature called an "event finder" (with complete results only available to subscribers) which can make such searches of their extensive database very easy. The Elias Sports Bureau, which provides official statistics for Major League Baseball, is also well known for providing such tidbits of information to journalists in very short order (you will often see them quoted in reports on games in which an unusual event has just taken place), through searches of their proprietary database, which contrary to Sports Reference, is not available to the public.
