March 17[edit]

lost commercials[edit]

Back in 1989, I remember seeing these Pan Am commercials. They started out in black and white. While some guy was doing his backstroke, the announcer said something which may have sounded like, "Oh, what people would do to get to Europe for less." Some (nostalgic) water ballet-style music was also playing. Then, they displayed the Pan Am logo, also in black and white. Afterwards, they come back into color. They also displayed some European destination flights on sale. I can't seem to find those commercials anywhere on the Internet, including YouTube. Could anyone out there help me, please? Thank you.2603:7000:8100:9390:FD44:6354:4320:B3E3 (talk) 07:03, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Have you checked the Pan Am Museum Foundation? They have 77 commercials in this YouTube playlist. --136.56.52.157 (talk) 08:58, 17 March 2023 (UTC) . . . A brief check didn't find a matching description, but I might have missed something.[reply]
I contacted them about the same thing a couple weeks ago. They haven't responded, yet.2603:7000:8100:9390:FD44:6354:4320:B3E3 (talk) 10:24, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
