This being the Language Desk, I'm guessing you're asking which of those languages is the oldest. Is this what you meant ? StuRat (talk) 06:46, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I can't be bothered to fight my way through text that you appear to be making deliberately difficult to read, but if you are complaining that English maps use English names, then your complaint is with the English language not with the mapmakers. The names we use in English for foreign places, especially in the Ancient world, are the names which have been inherited, often from classical sources. To use a different name would be perverse. --ColinFine (talk) 10:11, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I give up. who is the oldest? Richard Avery (talk) 15:34, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wasn't it Tom Bombadil? {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.197.66.138 (talk) 16:01, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I, too, find it almost impossible to understand the text below the heading, but there is a discernible question in the heading, namely which of the peoples listed occurred earliest. See Ethnogenesis for some of the issues and understand that ethnic identity is distinct from genetic inheritance. The ancestors of any given ethnic group go back to the beginnings of humanity, but the ethnic group doesn't become distinct until it is identified as such by its own members or others. Of the groups that you list, almost certainly the Egyptians were the first among which an ethnic identity emerged, roughly 5,000 years ago. At that time, none of the other groups you list existed as such. Marco polo (talk) 17:49, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's an obvious April fool's joke. That's why I deleted it. Duh! Dominus Vobisdu (talk) 19:58, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
