What were her speeds please

[edit]

I want to know the speeds that Kitty O'Neill did when she did a top speed of 412 miles an hour on her quarter mile run. I dont know how to work out these things, so I dont know how long her run took and I dont know what her average speed was. Can someone tell me how to work it out please —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.239.204.103 (talk) 22:36, 28 May 2010 (UTC) The time it takes to do the quarter of a mile is call a ET but I dont kow what Kitty O'Neils ET was.[reply]

Try Kitty O'Neil.--RDBury (talk) 02:36, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is a lovely storey but it doesn't tell me how to work it out because it doesn't have a ET. My Pop says never mind because he knows a school teacher and will find out how its is worked out. I forgot to put my name before 125.239.204.103 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:18, 29 May 2010 (UTC).[reply]

WikiAnswers says that the ET for the 412 mph run was 3.235 seconds, which gives an average speed of 278.2 mph. Gandalf61 (talk) 11:21, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
