Name of number patterns[edit]

Taking the three digits in 117 and listing all the possible numbers and sums of each digit only—is there a name for this run of numbers? 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 11, 17, 18, 71, 72, 117, 171, 711. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 20:05, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Did you leave out 171? -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 20:16, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I did, I detest that number. Just kidding, I forgot it (added). Patterns like this remind me of SAT "what number is next" questions, so I'm sort of wondering if there are names for these things. I can't think of a good subject line, but I changed it, too. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 23:25, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
