[edit]

string harmonic

[edit]

Based upon the number examples given, I think the heard-pitch formula should be y/(y-x) rather than y/(x-y) as stated Ndoubt (talk) 23:45, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As stated where? If this is a criticism of some article, please put it (first) on that article's Talk page. Of course, sign is irrelevant in pitch. —Tamfang (talk) 09:59, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As stated in the article with the title of this section, string harmonic. Thank you, Ndoubt, that's indeed wrong. I'll correct it. ◄ Sebastian 10:33, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, an obvious typo. Thank you for the correction. Dbfirs 10:41, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
On second thought, that whole paragraph is not just badly written, but even wrong. I'll discuss that on the article's talk page. ◄ Sebastian 11:30, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
