Cleaning a laptop computer screen

I bought a bottle of computer screen cleaning solution, followed the instructions to the letter (spraying the solution onto the soft cloth provided, not onto the screen itself), but the screen is not clean. Instead it is all smeary, see photo [1]. What am I doing wrong, and how can I clean the screen properly? Thank you, --Viennese Waltz 19:53, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Without recommending alternative methods, it looks like you used too much liquid and too broad of strokes. Try using less liquid and wiping with small circular (or figure-eight) motions. You might need to clean and dry the cloth first. —107.15.157.44 (talk) 22:16, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
