Does anyone have any thoughts on the article I've just created? Yaris678 (talk) 01:07, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like you've done all the right things. Well done. Chevymontecarlo 07:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Yaris678 (talk) 14:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Any major concerns with this article?

You might need to work on adding more references, but other than that I think it is written and laid out well. Chevymontecarlo 07:36, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

All the images make the article nicer to read but I do think there's some problems with the tone of the opening paragraph, so you might need to take a look at that and perhaps rewrite or make improvements in a more neutral point of view. Chevymontecarlo 07:38, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted an article on the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis. It is a unique service in the area with history tied to Russell and Fern de Greeff, major benefactors in the St. Louis area.

It's a general history/service article.

Could someone please provide feedback?

Most of the article just sounds like an advertisement for the house. Phrases like
he only one of its kind in St. Louis
Her name has become synonymous with outstanding hospice care in St. Louis, Mo.

and the whole 'facilities' section perhaps needs some work. Take a look at WP:Neutrality and WP:POV for more information. Chevymontecarlo 07:41, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We have just launched this new format of online school. So our references are few, however Light University Online has been around since 1999. After you review this, how will I need to make this "Live"?

Thanks

Please review

I think you need to try and add sections, some reliable sources, an infobox, and finally perhaps some more links to other Wikipedia articles. Chevymontecarlo 07:51, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am trying to correct a blank in the information about a counselling/psychotherapeutic approach that was developed in the 50s and 60s, had its heydays in the 70s and 80s but has continued at a low level ever since. This is my first post with wikipedia and I have consulted other practitioners to make this as correct as I can. 1. I need to know whether this is ready to submit. 2. I can't see how to make keywords link to other parts of the encyclopaedia. Does this happen automatically? 3. Is it Ok to make the external links point to websites that relate to Human Social Functioning

Hit-testing[edit]

Hit-testing (and the synonyms "hit detection" and "picking") are distinct from collision detection, though there is some overlap, as explained in the article. Thus, I created a separate article. I believe that "hit detection" should redirect to this article, not to collision detection.

New article, needs review by someone other than creator.

Here are a few miscellaneous comments. You seem to have a number of good sources for your information, but you have not really linked the various facts stated in your article to those sources. What would make this work better is to add ref tags at the appropriate locations in the article to provide those links. You have a subheading for "Biography", but the article is biographical data only in part. Shouldn't you have another subhead or two to cover the themes in the rest of the article? The categories you have at the bottom of the page do not show up correctly because you have to wikilink them (double square brackets on each side) with "Category:SomeCategory" between the brackets. Open some random article then click the edit tab to see an example of how to do this. (Then click back to "read" so you don't change it.) You might want to see if there is an appropriate info box to use for the article. There appear to be several opportunities to further link your article to other Wikipedia articles -- Yale, John Hall, possibly more. Nice work. Tkotc (talk) 02:49, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Any concerns about this article?

Alex.hager (talk) 22:22, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have several references for this article but I cannot find links for the content of the references outside of the scans or rips that are hosted on the article subject's website. Is this method of reference sufficient? Will this article meet Wikipedia's standard for submission and how can I improve and expand this article?
