This is an article about the general information of a luxury hotel in Macau SAR. Just want to see if it is qualified for the "MOVE" action and to be published in the article page.
If possible, I would like to know how to change the style of the infobox such as the background color of the "Name" and the color of the font as well.

- Judging from your username, you have a very obvious conflict of interest in writing about this subject. Generally, individual hotels of a large chain are not considered notable unless there is something special about that hotel. The article does not explain why this Sofitel is any more notable then the many other Sofitels around the world. However, it does read very much like the marketing brochure for the hotel and I have therefore put it up for speedy deletion. Astronaut (talk) 16:24, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

I would like feedback on my article, it is my first and on a University President (Naropa University.) I fixed the trouble with the infobox, and have uploaded a picture of Stuart C. Lord into the infobox.
The only other problem (I can see) is that the majority of my sources are bare URLs, and thus subject to link rot I will work to correct this. Despite this I hope to move the article now, any suggestions before I do so?

A short summary of the article follows: Dryer is an American rock 'n' roll band from Saratoga Springs, New York, USA. Formed in 1992, the three members of the band are Bob Carlton (guitar, vocals), Joel Lilley (drums, vocals), and Rachael Sunday (bass, vocals). The article consists of some touring history, other bands on same bill, former members, and a comprehensive discography.
The band is notable for several reasons, including:
They clearly meet criteria 1 which is "Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself." They've been written up non-trivially in several publications which I've referenced in the article as well as plenty in print which I don't have handy (when I get them I'd add them --- for instance they were in Maximum Rock 'n' Roll, Thumb Magazine, an Athen's GA local music magazine when they were touring, etc.) Dryer has been written up in small magazines as well as many bigger music trade magazines.
They meet criteria 4 which is: "Has received non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country."
They meet criteria 5 which is: "Has released two or more albums on a major label or on one of the more important indie labels" Fake Chapter is the only one of the labels that is still operating. The owner of Fake Chapter probably thinks it's a pretty important indie label. Many of Fake Chapters bands have wikipedia pages and they mention Fake Chapter Records on them, e.g. Arms and Sleepers , Miles Hunt , DMBQ.
They meet criteria 10 which is: "Has performed music for a work of media that is notable," --- they've been on several compilation albums as well as a soundtrack to a major motion picture (documentary America the Beautiful). The film played at more than 20 film festivals worldwide and was reviewed by many major film reviewers including Roger Ebert: reviews and according to wikipedia it is notable as it has its own wikipedia entry: America The Beautiful wikipedia page.
In regards to touring, Dryer headlined many tours but also played on smaller shows with less known bands. They were more of a supporting act on many large tours and shows.

- There is a long way to go before this article is ready. Notability is not inherited, so simply being a friend of Ahmet Ertegun or having worked with notable bands and musicians is not sufficient - he must be independantly notable, satisfying our general notability criteria or the notability criteria for creatives and/or musicians. Make sure the article has sufficient references from reliable sources to show this. Take a look at other articles and the manual of style to see how articles should be presented - for example, people are usually referred to by their full name the first time it appears (and in an infobox if present) and thereafter by their family name. Add wikilinks to other Wikipedia articles that might add to reader's understanding; so link to unusual places (like Largs), notable organizations, bands and people (but please only wikilink each term once). Take a look at other articles and WP:REFBEGIN to see how to format references. Remember that unusual claims need verification; so you may know he is a good friend of Ahmet Ertegun and has produced for all those notable bands, but unless you can prove it with references, who's to say you haven't just made it up.
