Issues to be mediated

[edit]
  • The issue is the lead section. According to NPOV, it should reflect the majority and significant-minority published view of what Wilhelm Reich is remembered for. Some people believe he was a crank, [1] while others apparently believe he was an important psychotherapist, whose work is still highly regarded. The question is where the emphasis should lie.
  • Nescio* (talk · contribs) is an almost single-issue editor who has been reverting to his version of the lead since December 2005, either as Nescio* or as an anon; for example, as 83.171.146.173 (talk · contribs). Nescio* believes that my version of the lead is unfair to Reich.
  • This is my version. This is Nescio*'s version. SlimVirgin (talk) 19:51, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note from Nescio*: I mainly edit in the German Wiki: [2] --Nescio* ]

A second note: I'll be offline from 22nd Sept for about three weeks. --Nescio* 20:33, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Additional issues to be mediated

[edit]

My only concern is the lead section. SlimVirgin (talk) 09:00, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Parties' agreement to mediate

[edit]
All parties should sign below, indicating that they agree to mediate the issue. If any party fails to sign, or if a party indicates they do not agree, then the mediation will be rejected. Only signatures and "agree" or "disagree" should appear here; any comments will be removed.

Decision of the Mediation Committee

[edit]
  • Extend: Awaiting Nescio*'s return.

Being back now. --Nescio* 11:19, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this case still pending? Shouldn't it be accepted, since Nescio came back? If it is accepted, I will take on this case--¿¡Exir Kamalabadi?!Join Esperanza! 13:01, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for that offer, Exir, but these cases are handled by members of the Mediation Committee. SlimVirgin (talk) 13:11, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Accepted. For the Mediation Committee, Armedblowfish (talk|mail) 04:06, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
