Yingze Gate, which is usually called Danan Gate, is a city gate in Taiyuan city from the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. It is located at the middle of the South city wall and is one of the eight city gates in the old Taiyuan city.

Yingze Gate is now located at Yingze district in Taiyuan. It is also the central business district in Taiyuan. About to the Yingze Street are Liu Alley, May I Square , railway station and other places, which are in the eastern part of Yingze Street.

The Yingze Park, Yingze Hotel, Yingze Lake and other places are all named after "yingze".

Yingze district in Taiyuan is named after Yingze Gate. In addition, many companies in Taiyuan use “yingze” as the name of their enterprise or trade, such as Yingze Beer.
