Unused s-line templates for SEMTA Commuter Rail. S-line was never implemented for this service, probably because we don't have articles for any of the former stops, save Pontiac Transportation Center. Template:Infobox Shakespearean character[edit]

Propose merging Template:Infobox Shakespearean character with Template:Infobox character.
Similar to multiple previous fictional character infobox merge discussions, {{Infobox Shakespearean character}} should replaced by {{Infobox character}}.

Out of the 18 parameters of the infobox, 9 are present at the general template: |name=, |multiple=, |image=, |image_size=, |image_upright=, |alt=, |caption=, |creator=, |family=. 4 are present with different names: |play= is used for |series=, |portrayed_by= for |portrayer=, |other_names= for |aliases= and |associates= for |affiliation=.

That leaves |date=, |source=, |role=, |quote= and |see_also=. |source= is used 6 times and in 3 different ways - twice it is used for the same value series, twice it is as "Shakespeare's invention", once as "fictional" and once as a "based on" entry. So the only correct use would be the based on, which is already supported in the general infobox. |see_also= is used 3 times and all uses are also as a "based on" parameter. |date= and |quote= could either use one of the custom fields or just not be added, I support not adding them.   • Comment - can we please remove {{Tfm/dated}} from Template:Infobox character? It's more that Infobox Shakespearean character is being proposed to be merged to Infobox character rather than with Infobox character (which will remain unchanged) - the merge thing at the top makes it look like Infobox character is being removed/merged somewhere when it's really not the case. And it's appearing on every single fictional character page on Wikipedia. WP:IAR if necessary Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 11:32, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
