The 2020 Masters final

The 2020 Masters, officially the 2020 Dafabet Masters, was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament held from 12 to 19 January 2020 at the Alexandra Palace in London, England. It was the 46th the Masters tournament, and the second of three Triple Crown events in the 2019–20 snooker season, following the 2019 UK Championship and preceding the 2020 World Snooker Championship. The knockout tournament involved the top 16 players in the snooker world rankings. Organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, it was broadcast by the BBC and Eurosport in Europe. Judd Trump was the defending champion, but was eliminated in the first round. The previous year's finalist, Ronnie O'Sullivan, chose not to participate, thus giving his entry to Ali Carter, who reached the final but lost to Stuart Bingham, who became the oldest Masters champion at the age of 43 years and 243 days. Query from major contributor - I'm planning on running an TFA for the final of the World Snooker championship as I've done since 2019. I'd be fine with this running, so long as it doesn't effect that. Lee Vilenski ^{(talk • contribs)} 00:39, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my, I must admit I was ignorant not just on that part but also because if this gets approved, it would not only be very close the 2023 World Snooker championship final but also snooker Cliff Thorburn's which is requested to run the following day, January 16. Not to mention that there has been another article that has been requested to run on the day of the 2023 final (the shooting of James Ashley article). If that would be the case, I think this should just be moved to a nonspecific date between January 10 and February 9. Vida0007 (talk) 21:45, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
