- Most recent similar article(s): No Filipino singer has appeared on TFA (from what I’ve checked), although the Pixies's Filipino-American lead guitarist, Joey Santiago, appeared in the main page in 2012.
- Main editors: Pseud 14
- Promoted: February 21, 2022
- Reasons for nomination: Her 52nd birthday. Submitting a second nominee for April 22, I hope it's fine. This would be my first nomination at TFA, and if selected, this would be the first (local) Filipino performer to appear in the TFA space.

- Support, I don't think we should be re-running a singer when we have ... a singer ... to run on the same date. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 04:47, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Nothing wrong with having this alive singer this year, - I didn't know her, and the plan for her birthday. In former times, it took a "round" birthday to be preferred, such as Ferrier's 110. I have no problem waiting for 111 next year. I waited already, postponing her last year thinking 109 was a strange number to celebrate. I'm used to it, BWV 1 was also postponed a year, because someone had a better reason for the same date. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:03, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support. A recently-promoted FA on a non-Western topic (good for diversifying the Main Page) with a tie to the date. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 18:16, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support A better alternative to above singer. Also promotes and sets out standards on articles of biographies of living persons. ZKang123 (talk) 02:51, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

- Reasons for nomination: Proposed April Fools' joke for 2024. After unsuccessfully nominating Mariah Carey for TFA, here I go with TFA again. It's actually a false bio of Regine Velasquez and her career. Regine is not the "Songbird Supreme", it's Mariah who is the "Songbird Supreme". Regine is just "Asia's Songbird".

- Oppose There will be lots of editors that will be upset if we put false information on the Main Page. Also, I did not "get the joke" until I read the explanation, which is a sign that the joke is not going to work for the Main Page. Z1720 (talk) 00:47, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- Coordinator comment Normally, the rules require an article to wait five years after the first appearance to appear a second and final time. This article ran April 22, 2022. There was an exception made for Groundhog Day (film) in 2021. Discussion can be found here (and in the following section) and also here.--Wehwalt (talk) 01:05, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. It hasn't been five years since this last appeared on the Main Page, a criteria when nominating at TFAR. Apologies but I may have to be blunt, and I completely agree with Z1720, I don't find it amusing at the slightest. I find it a ridicule on the article the I worked on, and also a waste of time for the coords that have to read through this unforgivably cringeworthy attempt. @TFA coordinators requesting to kindly withdraw this hastily nominated request. @RapMonstaXY: please review and be acquainted with the TFAR process before nominating. You have done a similar nomination, prematurely, for Mariah Carey's article at last month's TFA, and when prompted to address the issues to fix the article, you abandoned it and provided no action at all. I am beginning to think that you aren't here to contribute and that your nominations are quite ill-conceived. Pseud 14 (talk) 01:07, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
