To say that we don't have just returning stuff: the highly-anticipated wrestling extravaganza (#1) is joined by other sports (#17), the end of life (#2, #8, #10) is matched by where all matter ends (#6), superhero movies by DC (#3) and Marvel (#15, #16, #18) are joined by an adaptation of a more independent work (#14), a recent arrest (#4, #21) serves as foil to past crimes (#5, #11), a rising female singer (#7) gets partnered with a K-pop group (#22) and a returning rock legend (#24), a returning HBO show (#9, #10) has the company of one on Netflix (#23)... and the only thing as scary as horror movies (#19, #20) is politics (#13, #25).

In the first female-lead main event in the tournament's history, Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a winner takes all triple threat match, winning both the Raw Women's Championship and SmackDown Women's Championship and sealing her victory.
2	Nipsey Hussle	1,973,249	Hiphpop singer-songwriter Ermias Joseph Asghedom aka Nipsey Hussle was shot down last week at his local store, becoming the 43rd professional from the genre to be murdered. He is survived by #8.
3	Shazam! (film)	1,372,523	The latest DC superhero film, starring Captain Marvel (no, not that Captain Marvel) released on April 5. It received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the lighter tone in comparison to previous DC films like Batman v Superman. It also did better than expected at the box office, grossing $53.5 million USD in the US on its opening weekend there.
4	Julian Assange	1,325,968	After years hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy in London, lest he be extradited to Sweden for rape charges, the founder of WikiLeaks was forcibly removed by the police so he'd be extradited to the United States instead for espionage and computer intrusion charges.
5	Bonnie and Clyde	1,163,368	Already the subject of a classic movie, the famous outlaw couple now serve as the unseen antagonists of Netflix's hit film The Highwaymen.
6	Black hole	1,157,950	In a great feat for science - and women scientists in particular - the Event Horizon Telescope, using algorithms made by Katie Bouman, managed to gaze into the supermassive, supermassive black hole at the center of Messier 87 and take the picture to the left.
7	Billie Eilish	815,714	Along with a #1 album and various hit songs, this 16 year old singer-songwriter also performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where Eilish both fulfilled a dream of meeting Justin Bieber and managed to forget her own lyrics.
8	Lauren London	804,610	London is #2's partner, and had a son, Kross, with him.
9	Game of Thrones	773,777	After a year and a half off the air, it is now time for the last season of the hit TV series filled with sex, blood, political intrigue, dragons, ice zombies, and terrible things happening to whoever has the audience sympathy. Expect Westeros to not leave the Report for the next six weeks, if not more.

14	Hellboy (2019 film)	612,457	Guillermo del Toro made two great movies about this renegade demon anti-hero out of Dark Horse Comics, but sadly a third part wound up never done. Instead Neil Marshall was hired for a mature reboot of Anung Un Rama, that critics blasted for being hellish in the worst sense of the word. This probably hurt Hellboy in the box office, as it opened at #3 behind a comedy about a teen who becomes an adult (#3) and a comedy about a woman who becomes a child.
15	Avengers: Endgame	610,874	Hype is really high for the three hour film that serves as the conclusion for 21 movies. Speaking of them...
16	List of Marvel Cinematic Universe films	559,725	With the release of Avengers: Endgame, Wikipedia readers went to find out about the previous films in the series. If you're new to the franchise, you have a lot of catching up to do...
17	Dwyane Wade	535,478	One of the greatest basketballers in the world, Dwyane Wade retired as his Miami Heat (for whom he spent almost all of his career, winning three NBA titles, one as the Finals Most Valuable Player) failed to qualify for the 2019 NBA playoffs.

19	Pet Sematary (2019 film)	447,057	Along with superhero movies, the latest years have been good for horror too. To the point there's two entries in a row, first Stephen King's book about a damned graveyard getting its second adaptation, and then Jordan Peele's tale of duplicates going after the originals with scissors.

Yet the "BTS Army" still managed something impressive, as the video of the group's duet with Halsey, "Boy with Luv", got almost 75 million views in a single day, something only beaten by people getting their day ruined by Samara Morgan.
23	Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (TV series)	424,602	Sally Draper the Teenage Witch is back as Netflix releases another half-season of Kiernan Shipka being a sorceress.
24	Freddie Mercury	416,666	Last week the streak of appearances by the Queen frontman couldn't keep itself alive, yet there's Freddie saying "Now I'm Here!", possibly helped by an interview given by the subject of "Love of My Life".
25	Kirstjen Nielsen	408,473	Been a while since the Trump government had a high-profile departure, isn't it? Well, the Secretary of Homeland Security just announced her resignation. Her tenure implemented that questionable policy of separating migrant children from their parents.
