"Start- und Landebahn" translates simply as "runway". Modern airports do not have separate runways for takeoff and landing (de:Landebahn redirects to de:Startbahn). The term "apron" is used for the airport ramp, the area where aircraft are parked etc.  Andreas  (T) 14:31, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I've proofread - only two minor changes - quite a complicated tense change which is hard to explain - it just sounds better in English and a incorrect translation of a word later on. Good work guys --Luccent 15:01, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
