Request on 09:39:16, 13 January 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by 41.160.84.10[edit]

Please advise what copyright material was used as we do own The Building Exciting Education Trust. 41.160.84.10 (talk) 09:39, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@ADMaharaj01: Even if you own the material, it is presumed to be under copyright unless otherwise specified. Please see the "Donating copyrighted material" page for information on how to add material that you own to Wikipedia. Please note that even if the copyright issues are resolved, most text copied from official websites is likely to be too promotional sounding for inclusion on Wikipedia. --Ahecht (TALK

10:01:54, 13 January 2015 review of submission by 182.237.136.80[edit]

Hi i am not understanding what is the reason why my article is not approved. 182.237.136.80 (talk) 10:01, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Amitjkadam87: Sentences like "SMC Group is one of India’s leading financial services and investment solutions providers and has been rated as India’s Best Equity, Derivatives & Currency Broker and Broking house with the largest Distribution Network" are promotional. It's ad copy and inappropriate. Also, you need to improve sourcing. Your Reuters citation is a press release, which isn't valid. I'm not sure if VCCircle is a reliable source; it might be. 20:21:13, 13 January 2015 review of submission by Hozae1983[edit]

Hello and thank you everyone who gave me good advise. I remade the article to flow more like an encyclopedia and included as much possible external research/links to validate the content. Before I submit the article for revision can someone give me feedback. I also research many similar topics on Wikipedia to make sure I was aligned in the content and citations.Hozae1983 (talk) 20:21, 13 January 2015 (UTC) Hozae1983 (talk) 20:21, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

22:32:35, 13 January 2015 review of submission by 173.212.185.209[edit]

I just recently created an article about a professional athlete, I was wondering how the process works. Is the article I created waiting to be reviewed? How long until it is posted to Wikipedia for public viewing?

Thanks so much,

Mark 173.212.185.209 (talk) 22:32, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@173.212.185.209: That article has multiple issues and will not be approved in its current state. First, that person does not appear to meet the standards of WP:NHOCKEY for inclusion in Wikipedia. Second, the article has no references to reliable sources (note that, because anybody can edit them, other Wikipedia articles are NOT considered reliable sources). Third, as a Biography of a Living Person, the article needs to have thorough in-line citations. --Ahecht (TALK
