I just posted about a site. An info as i encyclopedia should have. Must be I am a new writer or had misunderstood something so please in order to make me correct your kind guidance is needed.

- Your submission was turned down because the proposed article is basically an advertisement or promotion for the commercial site FreeBaazaar.com . There's nothing there to show the notability of the site. Wikipedia is not here to promote your business. Meters (talk) 04:46, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

10:08:37, 8 January 2015 review of submission by British Wireless[edit]
I have uploaded (or thought I had uploaded a photograph) - Crystal radio for the Blind.tif to go into our page. I don't know where it has gone if it has uploaded and if not and I have to re-do the process how do I make sure it appears in the right section of the article?

- @British Wireless: - The most common reason an image is longer where you expected it is because there is a copyright problem with it, but if that was the case, you would have received a message about it. I can only assume that the image was not uploaded. There are a number of images for crystal radios on Wikimedia Commons, but I'm not sure this is specifically what you were looking for. Maybe @Sitush:, who helped work on the article, can advise. Incidentally, the article on British Wireless for the Blind Fund is not "your" page per se, as anyone is free to edit and improve it. - I can't really help, sorry. I vaguely remember working on the article while it was at AfC, trying to sort out a fair number of problems. I actually know very little about the subject and, sad to say, I'm still pretty uncomfortable with all the issues surrounding image copyrights even today. - Sitush (talk) 10:25, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
Yes - thanks, point taken that it is not 'our'page - I was merely clarifying that I wanted the image of the crystal set to appear in the article on British Wireless. However, my question is still the same - if I now try to upload the photo again, will it appear in the 'sandbox' and can I drag it to where I want it in the article?

- No, as the article is now acceptable for mainspace and can be found at British Wireless for the Blind Fund. When you upload an image (using the "Upload file" entry on the menu here), if it is successfully uploaded, you will see a text box saying "Copy and paste this code to use the image in a wiki". Go to the British Wireless for the Blind article and paste that image somewhere in there. Don't worry too much about the formatting and placement in the first instance, we can always sort that out later. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:20, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

I would like to request a Re -review of my submission of Kathleen Andrews, Edmontons first female bus driver. I need help writing it and submitting documentation to verify her contributions to the City of Edmonton. The City of Edmonton has honored Kathleens contributions to society by naming the new Edmonton Transit System Garage in her name and naming 3 Edmonton streets after her.
I would really appreciate any and all help with this submission.

- @Skylaa: I've found four reliable sources, copyedited the article to look closer to Wikipedia's "house style", linked it from Edmonton Transit System and passed it. It's now at Kathleen Andrews. In my view, however, the subject's notability is still tenuous, so I'd recommend adding whatever other obituaries and articles you can. I'll watchlist the article, as if somebody decides to nominate it for deletion, I will argue for a merge / redirect to the ETS article so the information is not lost. 16:33:43, 8 January 2015 review of draft by UTRams[edit]
Hi, I just added a short article draft at [1]. I want to add a box with information to the article (example: see Brandwatch). In the case of Brandwatch, company and product have the same name, the box contains mostly data on the company. My article is about a product that is developed by a company with a deviating name. Should I still add a box like the one in Brandwatch, or is there an alternative?

I got the message the my page request was denied. I would like it reviewed again. One of the explanations for the reason for denial was that it didnt have enough citations. The Frehner Museum is pretty new and in a small town so not much has been written on so I dont have much to cite. I believe it belongs on wikipedia because it is a viable and valuable institution in the town it is in. Also, it is connected to the University here as well (Southern Utah University) if citing is the only problem then I dont know how to fix that because I cant, ethically, make up sources. If other things are needed to be done please let me know so I can do what I must to fix it. Kaseywarhurst (talk) 18:32, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Kaseywarhurst: We can't accept your assertions and value judgement in an objective work like Wikipedia. We write only what objective reliable sources have said. As is often the case with new entities, a lack of proper sources indicates a lack of notability. You'll have to try again once other journalists cover the subject. As an aside, this subject does read promotionally. I recommend removing the long quotes and all information not covered by a source. Your draft has a better chance of being accepted with just two solid sentences than it does with a whole page of fluff. Chris Troutman (talk) 19:25, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
