[edit]

An article is needed, notably, because when an individual searches for the novel "Encumbering Ashes" by M.A. DePriest the google search provides the wrong information stating that a Margaret DePriest, an actress that has nothing to do with the book, as the Author. I am Mitchell A DePriest, I am the author and writer of the book "Encumbering Ashes". In addition to the article being made for me specifically, I intend to make one for my present and future novels upon release. MADePriest (talk) 02:41, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

RELIABLE SOURCES

First, see film notability guidelines. Unreleased films are not considered notable unless production has itself been notable. There is nothing in the draft about production. Second, do you have a conflict of interest? Robert McClenon (talk) 03:36, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

I just wrote a page about Mr. Prashant Bangur, a budding entrepreneur, because none existed. He has been featured by Forbes and Business Today. I gathered information that I could from multiple sources and used links where there were. He doesn't have an online presence, also certain data such as board membership didn't have direct website links.

But it got rejected by the reviewer, I don't want to delete it and I don't know how to improve it. Also, I had written so much with 14 reference links, but the reviewer deleted it all.

I can't find my original submission. Here's the one now after being reviewed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Prashant_Bangur

Regards

If you don't know how to improve it, you can leave it alone for six months and it will be deleted by itself. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:04, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is an IMDB page sufficient? https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9872306/?ref_=nv_sr_1 MADePriest (talk) 04:40, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MADePriest. Wikipedia is not the place to straighten out a problem with Google search results. If Google's knowledge panel displays the wrong author for a book, click the feedback link beneath the box and send them a correction. The problem has nothing to do with Wikipedia. M.A. DePriest is not notable, so Wikipedia will not accept an article about them. IMDb is user-generated content, so it is not a reliable source, and cannot help establish notability. --Worldbruce (talk) 06:34, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
User:MADePriest - Posting multiple questions about your draft to this noticeboard is not useful and is not a way to get your draft accepted by wearing down the reviewers or otherwise. You have asked the same questions more than once, which is tendentious and may result in your draft being deleted or in a block. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:24, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The purpose of this article is to give information regarding the best management practices done by particular organization. The sources or references of this article are reliable. In fact, organizations mentioned in the article are presented informatively from the particular sites. The writer is requesting for considerations to review again the article knowing that this article can help to guide or give ideas to particular organization on what may be the best management practices they can implement in their respective organizations. Dajean012318 Greetings. Please note that your draft has been declined. Please read WP:Your First Article and Referencing for Beginners to familiar yourself on how to write an article and citing in Wikipedia. Secondly, article need to be notable to be published in Wikipedia. Sources provided to demonstrate the notability need to be independent, reliable sources. Thank you. Dajean012318 The existing article Management already covers this topic. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 18:26, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I submitted a brief biographical outline that was declined and I'm not sure what is required to adhere to Wikipedia requirements for publishing? Sorry, I'm finding the written blog all rather confusing. I could provide references of the books mentioned on Amazon, if that is what is being asked? Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards, Carole

Hello again Youvewon. Wikipedia is not Facebook or LinkedIn. It is not the place to write about yourself. Carole Sawo is not a suitable topic for an encyclopedia article because there do not exist reliable sources independent of Sawo that contain significant coverage of Sawo. Wikipedia is not for advertising, publicity, or public relations. --Worldbruce (talk) 13:50, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ,

I would like to create an Artist musical biography for myself. But im having issue with my article not accepted. I not sure where my mistake is. The last result i receive from an expert editor say " DO NOT Resubmit'. Now i'm not sure what else to do if i cant resubmit again. According the editor say my article send this message . .

" This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

I believe i have leave a references with link sources and are independent and notability. Site contain "editors" release as"retrieve" years and date and info , long/short and reliable , As third party ref and "secondary sources" . In my article i believe i'm writing in a away of not promoting.. Article is related accordingly to references for readers. . I also not quite clear where exactly my mistake is in my article to be accepted.

Article Name : Draft : If Ifshan Kindly and hope wiki can consider as beginner and assist ,

Thank you

If ifshan (talk) 13:52, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If ifshan Greetings. Please note you have conflict of interest (COI) as you are the subject of the article. Please note Wikipedia strongly discourage author writing about themselves - see WP:Autobiography. There are 3 decline panels on top of the draft page where you could click on the blue highlighted text for more information. If you have read them, then you would know your sources are not independent and / reliable to demonstrate the subject notability - as they are listing and Wikipedia can NOT be the sources. For the current stage, the subject is not notability to be published in Wikipedia as the subject is WP:TOOSOON Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 14:57, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why was my article submission declined? I don't understand why it is not a "suitable draft". Muziqmeistro (talk) 17:53, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As the reviewer said, it is hard to know what it is supposed to be. It is not in good English, but copy-editing will still leave a religious polemic that is contrary to the neutral point of view. It does not belong in Wikipedia, but possibly on a Christian religious web site. It is hard to know what it is supposed to be. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:15, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
