02:57:53, 17 July 2018 review of submission by I wish people were kinder to others[edit]

How do I help edit this so it is written in following the guildlines? I want to fix whatever should be done...but I think it looks great. Or something we can add so it'll get through the draft will be ready? I wish people were kinder to others (talk) 02:57, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@I wish people were kinder to others: There has been a discussion about whether there should be an article about her in Wikipedia. The outcome was that there should not be, and so it was deleted. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 19:52, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I added a lot of sources (online newspaper, TV channels videos, etc) that I thought were reliable but apparently I still need more sources or better ones. Could someone please help and advise? Thank you so much.

@PHTZN: The question above was left by an anonymous user who we know only by their IP address. However as that user has never edited the article, I presume you are the same editor. I have left a message on your talk page about the importance of not editing while you are logged out. I also left a message explaining that creating an article that is based on a translation of an article in another language version of Wikipedia, as seems to be the case here, is technically a copyright issue. There is a specific procedure that you need to follow, described here. I noticed that the has been tagged by editors there for problems with it. Thank you so much for your quick answer. I'm sorry I didn't notice I was logged out, I will make sure to be logged in from now on. I will add the reference for the French Wikipedia, as I indeed translated from that page but didn't know it was a copyright issue. Would it be ok if I simply added the "copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution"? Could you also please advise on how to make this article reliable, as I used the same references (and even more) than the French article, who was admitted for submission pretty much easily? Thank you so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PHTZN (talkcontribs) 01:46, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@PHTZN: I have already added the necessary attribution in an edit summary, so everything that needs to be done regarding copyright is done. I don't have time now to go through all the references but hopefully someone else will step in. Note that different language versions of Wikipedia have differing policies and standards. @Curb Safe Charmer: Thank you for your help, I appreciate that! Hope someone else can help me dealing with the references.

Hi there. I'm asking about a page that I am a student at: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Sigma_Group_of_Institutes&action=edit

I read the guidelines on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources and believe to have followed them. What is wrong with the following references please? It says in Wikipedia that all schools and colleges can have a page.

Request on 14:27:42, 17 July 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Roger Bevins The 3rd[edit]

Hi there,

I'm trying to write an impartial, non sales-y entry on a relatively new cloud storage company that has been written up by the Boston Globe, among other reputable news sources. The company is called Wasabi Technologies, Inc.

This is also my first foray into creating articles and I hope to contribute as much as possible so would love to use this as a learning experience I can apply to future articles!

Roger Bevins The 3rd - I can see you've attempted to remove the advertising. Sadly, you haven't quite gone far enough. Creating an article (From a WP:NPOV) is probably one of the hardest things for a new member to do. A few things about promotion/encylopedic content - Not all information that can be sourced is suitible for wikipedia. For instance, you can't use prices such as "used at a rate of $.0039 per gigabyte per month." I'd remove that entire sentence (As promotional). Same with "The cloud storage product is 100% compatible with Amazon S3." - I'd also make sure the article isn't overly technical. Personally, I have no idea what "A high degree of redundancy creates data durability of eleven 9's" means. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 10:00, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

18:58:34, 17 July 2018 review of submission by Ralsted[edit]

A few minutes ago I "published" this new article for "review"... I do know it may take some time... I also know I have some more (plenty) of hotlinks to insert yet thought I would get a review of what I had done being it is my first Wikipedia Article and I did not see any place to put the reasoning for my review request. And yes, I have reviewed how to write and other (existing) Wikipedia articles so not to waste anyone's time... I hope.

Hi Ralsted - You may be better served adding useful information to the article that already exists Roller skating. This would be the place to improve, rather than starting a new article Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 09:36, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
