Turtlecare3 - It seems you've misunderstood what Wikipedia is. Please see our article on What Wikipedia is not. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:57, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

08:53:07, 27 July 2018 review of submission by RachelleDIY[edit]

Hello,

I recently submitted a Wikipedia page for review. It was about me. I have a YouTube channel, and I'm asked about certain things a lot. Instead of copying and pasting the same answer over and over and over again, I decided to make Wikipedia page for myself.

Now, I assumed that if you are writing about yourself, you don't need links and references to prove your point, because, well, I know the facts. I'm literally the walking encyclopædia of my life. This Wikipedia page would really help me and it's something that would be really useful, and so I'm wondering what I can do to get this published and live.

Thanks. RachelleDIY (talk) 08:53, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi RachelleDIY, I'm afraid you couldn't be more wrong in your assumptions. What you want to do is marketing, and that is absolutely not allowed on Wikipedia. You should rather consider a page at sites such as Facebook or LinkedIn or a perhaps a personal website. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 11:44, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Dodger67, Thank you for clearing that up for me. I was unaware that I needed to be notable to have a page. Maybe sometime in the future. Thanks.

This whole process is too complex, even to create a simplest of pages is hard. We just need the very basic starting page to start the process. We have created a billion dollar company but you say its not noteworthy ? We are on the nasdaq board on times square and we are referinging retuers and nasdaq news to justify that we are actually a real company. It would be exceptionally useful if someone could just edit a basic page for us and then let the community improve it. We have to start somewhere. Please help if you can.

Hi Dralanmiller. You write, "we just need the very basic starting page". Your audience here is concerned only with what Wikipedia needs, not at all with what your organization needs. Based on the four press releases you've provided, Wikipedia doesn't need a page about AUH Foundation. See WP:BFAQ#COMPANY for more information. --Worldbruce (talk) 22:11, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
