Status of articles -[edit]

As of April 2008, there were over 9,700 Airport articles representing 34% of WP:AVIATION. I encourage everyone to review the 1 FA Class article and 8 GA Class articles to see the best that WP:Airports has to offer. B Class articles currently number 127.

New articles -[edit]

We have added an impressive number of new articles, over 350 in April. The list of new Airport articles shows this is due to the efforts of several members including User:Newm30, User:Callumm, User:Bwmoll3, User:WhisperToMe, User:Patriarca12, User:Nenyedi, and, especially User:Zyxw. We have also made significant progress in the completion of missing International Airports with no article, only a few more remain.

Infoboxes (new and old) -[edit]

If you are looking for something to do, there are plenty of Airport articles needing InfoBoxes. We will also continue to update and address the list of airport articles needing replacement of old Infobox.

Future airports and expansion -[edit]

There is a dynamic list of planned new airports and expansions. We will keep the list and the articles up to date as progress continues.
