John Gilchrist (linguist)[edit]

I have expanded this article considerably to include a much fuller description of his life and achievements. My aim is to get it to good article standard, at least. As I am still something of a newbie at editing Wikipedia, I would very much appreciate comments and criticisms. Portnadler (talk) 13:25, 22 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A very minor point and I'm not certain about Wikipedia policy on this, but generally avoid block quotes for quotes less than two lines long. Otherwise it looks well written and well sourced. Alázhlis (talk) 20:44, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
