Wikipedia:WikiProject Buddhism/Award

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This user has been awarded the Wheel of Dhamma, for exemplary contributions to Buddhism related articles

The Wheel of Dhamma award, introduced by User:Srkris, is awarded by the Wikiproject Buddhism community to editors who make an outstanding contribution to Buddhism related articles on the Wikipedia.

Unlike Barnstars, the Wheel of Dhamma is not presented by individuals, but by acclamation. Only participants in Wikiproject Buddhism are eligible to vote (ie, those who are listed on the WikiProject Buddhism Participants Roster).

Nominations may be placed in the list below. Those who receive three votes receive the award, and will have the award placed on their user page, and their names recorded for eternity in the Wikiproject Buddhism Hall of Fame. No self-nominations nor self-votes (or sock puppets) please.

Nominations[edit]

  • I would like to nominate Mind_meal for The Wheel of Dhamma award. I have edited and written many pages here on Wikipedia. I can almost guarantee he comes in behind me and fixes my amateurish mistakes. He has also written some great articles supporting Buddhism on his own. Always a conscientious editor he clearly shows maturity and compassion in his writing. Golgofrinchian (talk) 17:03, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About two years of consistent hard work on WP and about a hundred Buddhist pages created... all whilst remaining friendly and helpful... I'd definitely like to second this nomination. Dakinijones (talk) 19:18, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
