Contemporary Musicians is a multi-volume general reference work. It covers the modern era of music, and does not leave out Christian artists, so long as they have had a measurable impact. It is published as a hardback periodical; each volume has its own ISBN in addition to the series ISSN. Usually lists sources per article.

Cornerstone[edit]

Cornerstone. ISSN 0275-2743. {{cite journal}}: Missing or empty |title= (help)

Published by JPUSA from 1971 until 2003, Cornerstone tends to cover alternative Christian music. Due to the nature of the organization that published it, and it's long time editor Jon Trott, it is sometimes not considered a reliable source, especially when dealing with cults and cult-like organizations. However, the disposition toward music holds no such reservations. JPUSA fielded bands, of which Resurrection Band is the most well known, ran a record label, and administers the Cornerstone Festival.
