Attention requests[edit]
Most Stub-class articles need immediate attention. A collaborative effort should be made to bring all articles to at least Start-class status.

Expansion requests[edit]
Expansion in usually needed in order to bring the article to C-class status.

Cleanup requests[edit]
Cleaning up is required for articles that are expansive but have an inadequate format, grammatical or spelling mistakes, copy-right problems among other issues.
- You can add {{cleanup}} banner on the articles that require cleaning up.
- Cleaning up is usually required to bring an article to a B-class status.

Infobox requests[edit]
Infobox is very important in providing a quick general and specific information about deserts and other topographical landforms. An effort should be made to cite the data added.
- If you find an article on a desert without an infobox, add {{Infobox desert}} at the top of that article. (see instructions).
- Add {{Reqinfobox}} to talk page of the article before adding it to the list below.
Assessment requests[edit]
Assessment is an important generalization for WikiProjects and helps them keep check the standard of their articles.

Article requests[edit]
Please feel free to list your new Desert-related articles here. Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them, are at least over 1,000 characters, don't have any dispute templates on them, and their sources cited, should be suggested for the Did you know? box on the Wikipedia Main Page.
Deletion requests[edit]
If you feel that a certain desert-related article needs to be deleted, you can nominate it for deletion. An effort should be made, if possible, to improve an article rather than deleting it.
- Please confirm that your proposal deletion follows the guidelines and policy laid out at WP:DEL.
- Follow these steps for proposing a deletion of an article along with your criteria.
- This would create an entry in the deletion log where you could discuss the idea with other wikipedians to reach a consensus.
