Theodor Andrei (pictured) announced he had no say in his stage show in Liverpool and is disappointed in the performance.^[1]
Aden Hasson joins the judging panel for "The Next Star" in Israel with Assi Azar and Shiri Maimon returning among others.^[2]
Albania to hold Junior Fest 2023 on 20 September, with applications open until 25 August.^[3]
Ukraine released the names of the competitors hoping to represent them in Nice, France for Junior Eurovision^[4].
Sam Ryder has been nominated for an Emmy award in the United States for his song "Fought & Lost", which was featured in the hit show Ted Lasso.^[5].

Conchita Wurst

Conchita Wurst, the 2014 winner, has hinted at a possible return for Austria after leaving comments on ORF social media posts regarding the countries national selection.^[1]

Benidorm Fest 2024 will choose the entry for Spain on 3 February featuring 16 singers^[2].

100 artists, who applied without a song, have auditioned for a special jury for a place in the Luxembourgish national selection set to be held on 27 January.^[3].

Maltese broadcaster PBS released the names of the 24 singers that will compete on 12 August to go to Junior Eurovision with the winners song set to be chosen in September. ^[4]

Ukranian broadcaster Suspilne have confirmed the countries intent to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and use a national selection, which is expected to be Vidbir.^[1]
Malta is having their second semifinal today to choose which singers will compete on 12 August to go to Junior Eurovision with the winners song set to be chosen on 15 September. ^[2]
All four songs competing in the Junior Songfestival for The Netherlands have been released. The winner will be chosen live on 23 September 2023.^[3]^[4]
AVROTROS chose Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen to be their new head of delegation, after being their head of contest since 2021.^[5]
The ABU TV Song Festival will be held on 29 October 2023 at KBS Hall in Seoul,South Korea, the location of the first edition in 2012.^[6]
