EditTask list and progress

Families

all families articles created.

    •  Doing... (in progress by User:Snek01) checking that taxonomy for families is up to date; adding subfamilies or text that there are no subfamilies; adding authority; adding synonyms. What is done: User:Snek01/Taxonomy
    •  Doing... (will be in progress when previous task is completed) add type genus; add authority reference.
    • The next task will be to add an image for every family (and also a link to Commons for every family)

  • Ensure all articles between Family and Genus rank are taxonomically consistent
    • Frenchwiki need to translate Cyclophoridae into English.

Species

(in progress)

  • Create articles for all Species and for needed Genera. Many species, however, are virtually undescribed. It is better, then, to describe the Genus or, if necessary, just the Family.
  • If there is an image of the species available then make an article (or start a stub) about the species.

Threatened species

Add information to certain species articles about the species' local conservation status, according to the local Red List.

Species from IUCN

Stale

Were though to be probably already resolved by bots according to the 2007 IUCN Red List, but some species like those in Sierraia (4 species, Year Assessed 2006) are not in wikipedia today (23 March 2010).

add all species from 2010 IUCN Red List:
