How To Get Recruited

[edit]

The first step in getting recruited by one of our recruiters is making sure you meet all of the following criteria.

  • You are a registered Wikipedia user.
  • You want to learn how to review Good article nominations.

Yup, that's it!

The Process

[edit]
  • The first step is to go to the list of recruiters and choose any recruiter you want that has the status of Available. Once you decide, go to their talk page and ask if they would like to recruit you. If they accept, they will provide you with further instructions. If they decline, please do not take it personally and contact another recruiter.
IMPORTANT: If all our recruiters' status' are "Not Available", please add your name to the waiting list on the list of recruiters page and a recruiter will contact you as soon as possible.

Notes

[edit]
  • The purpose of this program is NOT to teach you about all the aspects of Wikipedia. This program only teaches you how to review Good articles.
  • If you are accepted and cannot continue the program during any time, please notify your recruiter.
  • Upon completion of a recruitment session, a message will be left on your talk page with a link to a feedback form. This information will only be used to improve the Recruitment Centre for future recruitees. Note that filling out this form is not mandatory but is appreciated if you fill it out.
  • If you have any questions, please take a look at the FAQ. If your question is not already answered there, post your question on the Recruitee Central talk page, FAQ talk page, or contact any recruiter.
