1. Improve health-related Spanish Wikipedia articles with WP:MEDRS sources

Step 1.

Identify existing Spanish language Wikipedia articles that receive high page views per year and/or are important in terms of public health

• Link to top 500 viewed medical articles in es.Wikipedia for 2018
• List of top 25 viewed medical articles in spanish can be found here (updated Spring 2019))
• List of existing Cutaneous Conditions Wikipedia articles: Categoría:Enfermedades cutáneas

Step 2.

Identify potential resources that can be used to improve these articles:

• List of translated Cochrane Review Plain Language Summaries that can be considered for improving Wikipedia articles

(Note: Up to date as of June 12, 2019)

Step 3.

Start by adding a few citations to back up existing content and once you are comfortable editing Wikipedia start to add in new paragraphs and sentences using high-quality secondary sources

2. English--> Spanish Translation Projects:Create new Wikipedia articles that are missing from Spanish Wikipedia by translating the leads of English-Wikipedia articles

• Articles can be translated from English Wikipedia if they already exists there

• Identify gaps in Spanish Wikipedia

• Updated list of English Wikipedia Leads that have been prioritized by the WikiProject Medicine Translation Taskforce

• Check English Wikipedia and see if the article exists
• Start to draft the article in your Wikipedia Sandbox

Verify existing content

• Link to a list of all Dermatology-related Wikipedia articles in Spanish Categoría:Enfermedades cutáneas
• Verify that all Cochrane Reviews in Spanish Wikipedia are up to date (note: there is a possibility of developing a Cochrane bot in Spanish for this) (example of en.wikipedia bot)
