Take Ichi convoy[edit]

I've been working on this new article for the last few weeks and would appreciate comments on its current structure and content and suggestions for how it could be brought to A-class. As a sidenote, I think that this is the first article I've devoted substantial time to which doesn't involve Australia in any way, so comments on any usage of Australian-English spelling and terminology would be great. Ian Rose[edit]

Fine article - I can't really contribute much from a content perpective but the level of detail appears reasonable to satisfy ACR, given the nature of the subject. Apart from some cosmetic grammar or style points I've already actioned, the writing appears clear and the info unfolds in a logical and straightforward manner. In fact, the only minor thing I was wondering is whether we know the rank of Gurnard's commander, Herb Andrews? Re. the US orientation of language/style, spelling/expression all looks correct, the only question that might arise is what appears to be Commonwealth date fomatting, however I gather the US military also employs that format anyway. Thanks for those comments Ian. I was being lazy by not looking up the ranks of the US submariners (Clay Blair just stated their names in his account of the attacks). Nick-D (talk) 08:57, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
