Below is a list of U.S. newspapers organized by state that may not be covered in wikipedia. Many of the newspapers may have existing articles about them but may need to be redirected. Please see the guidelines at the project page. The list was compiled from the following sources though no source was used in toto:

The list started with 7,363 papers. Red is below 50% complete, Yellow is for 50%-99% complete, and Green is 100% complete.
