Cities, communes, districts, and counties of Moldova[edit]

We aim to set up properly articles for each of Moldova's 65 cities (we shall the largest 29 of them cities and the smaller 36 towns), 917 communes, 32 districts, Găgăuzia, 5 sectors of Chişinău, Transnistria, 5 sub-districts of Transnistria, 23 counties of the Principality of Moldavia, 9 traditional counties of Bessarabia (3 new names), 4 short lived counties of the 19th century (Hotărniceni, Codru, Greceni, Bolgrad), and 9 Counties of Moldova (1998-2003) (3 new names: Edineţ, Ungheni, Chişinău).

N.B. These edits are correct. In 2007-2008 the following were modified:

They are both localities without local administration, but are now officially identified. Also note the village Chetrişul Nou in commune Chetriş of Făleşti district, which has population 0.
