Orkneyinga Saga

[edit]

The following are names taken from the maps in Joseph Anderson's edition of the Orkneyinga saga, details:

  • Date of publication - 1990 (reprint of 1981 edition, in turn a facsimile of an 1893 edition)
  • Translators - Jón A. Hjaltalin & Gilbert Goudie
  • Editor - Joseph Anderson
  • Publisher: James Thin and Mercat Press (1873 original by Edmonston & Douglas).
  • ISBN 0 901824 25 9

Here are two "cheats" for references (cut and paste). The first is for the 1893 facsimile, the second for an online version of the 1873 Edmonston & Douglas edition.
