The railroad of the Pittsburgh & Susquehanna Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, located in central Pennsylvania. The main line extends from Philipsburg southwesterly to Fernwood, Pa., a distance of 16.901 miles, with a branch to Beaver Run, 2.387 miles, totaling 18.288 miles. The carrier also owns 3.498 miles of yard tracks and sidings. Its road thus embraces 21.786 miles of all tracks owned.
