All right. After many attempts and such, I have uploaded a new image for SH 151 with shields, and have made it an SVG. Be forewarned that it still crashes Firefox when viewed at full size. I really don't know whether its Firefox or ArcGIS that's causing the problem. 25or6to4 07:18, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Update: After getting some information regarding all the SVG problems, I have remade this image with significantly less point data, reducing the size of the file by a factor of 10. It seems to view properly for me in Firefox now.25or6to4 14:47, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Seaway Trail

New article; a map would be fantastic. The routing mentioned in the article should be sufficient for making a map at the proper scale (i.e., the complicated routing through Erie, Buffalo, and Ogdensburg can probably be safely ignored), but if not, the provided links should give the necessary detail. In an ideal world, it should be without shields (since the map should be able to be used elsewhere at any size) but there should be a smaller large scale map that doesn't overlay any major routes with a box that is used to indicate where in Illinois the Interstate is. In other words, like road atlas where there's a detailed map off to the side, but there's a box showing what is being detailed on the general map. Except here, the smaller map is the general map, and the detailed map is the larger. Yes, I wish I could find an example. :-) —Rob (talk) 03:15, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

I've been working on the Interstate 476 article to hopefully get it up to good article status, and I'd like to second the map request, it's a long, major route through eastern PA and could definitely benefit from a map illustrating the route. Iowa Highway 32

The Iowa 32 (Northwest Arterial) article could use a map showing its route. Please note that the highway now extends from U.S. 20 north, then northeast all the way to U.S. 52. That's because it was created using a different program (ArcGIS). That program requires buying it at a great profit, and the only free alternative that actually works is qgis. It's not my fault qgis is like this. O2 (息 • 吹) 01:50, 15 October 2007 (GMT)

          • Hey all. Sorry I'm late. What did I miss? Here's another version of the map: image:PA-191_map.svg. I think the original map is fine, given the limited resources. I just looked at the maps of other members using qgis, and a few of the maps seem to have varying thickness lines.
