Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Oklahoma/Timeline

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Timeline of the presence of each number in the Oklahoma Highway System. This is mainly to help show what versions of what designations were contemporary. Note that because this goes by designation, renumberings will cause a jump in the graph; SH-48 was renumbered as SH-99 in 1938, so the SH-48 bar will end and the SH-99 bar will begin at 1938. Extensions, truncations, realignments and the like are not shown at all on this graph. Consult the article history for a more detailed explanation of what occurred.

When exact dates are not known, June 1 of the appropriate year is used. The first incarnation of each highway is green, the second is orange, and the third is purple. If a highway is decommissioned and brought back with more or less the same routing, the colors will stay the same. Gray bars indicate missing data. (Dark gray bars indicate numbers which are not present in the current system, while light gray bars are for designations that are in the present system.)
