Some secondary routes are notable, but most are not. This is an attempt at objectively listing ones that can have reasonable articles.

Freeways/expressways
Principal arterials
Minor arterials (Type A)

National Highway System

According to the Federal Highway Administration maps of the National Highway System, several Virginia state secondary routes are part of the National Highway System:

There may be other secondary state routes that are part of the National Highway System but do not show up on the FHWA maps.
