[5] claims both ends were at the Warm Springs and Harrisonburg Turnpike, with Stribling Springs in the middle - in that case it was SR 728 and SR 837 (1860 map)

I think the BPW survey shows SR 728 and SR 837 from Whites Store to Parnassus - in other words not to Dudley's Sawmill (despite mention of this in the survey notes). Unless there was a different Dudley's Sawmill in 1835.

Lynchburg and Salem Turnpike to Dejarnette's (1833-34 ch. 142)

labeled "Lynchburg and Pannils Bridge Road" on 1860s Campbell County map, but definitely existed as a turnpike; note toll gate just south of the modern Lynchburg Expressway on 1860s Lynchburg map

1848 map shows it going over Ward's Bridge instead!

Pittsylvania, Franklin and Botetourt Turnpike BPW 613 (on 1848 map)

Fincastle to Danville (1838 ch. 164)

[15] shows the "Boothe[?] Turnpike" along SR 116 - what was this? a map error? did it use Colonial Turnpike or Old Franklin Turnpike (SR 40) southeast of Rocky Mount? this map shows the former but the 1848 map shows the latter

Salem and Rappahannock Turnpike

Salem Station to Gaines' Cross Roads (1853-54)

Slavin's Cabin and Summersville Turnpike? BPW 630 (not in main list) (not a turnpike?)

Staunton and Parkersburg Road to Summersville, WV (1853? original act not in index)

Slaven Cabin and Summersville Road was still mentioned in a 1910s USGS topo map of Webster Springs. It also appears that, though it was surveyed to Slaven's Cabin, it was only ever completed to Valley Head, where it connected to the Huntersville & Huttonsville Turnpike. Based on reconstruction of the route on other sources, it appears to have gone through the following towns/locations from east to west: Valley Head, Monterville, Upper Point Mountain School, Waneta, Woodzell (NOTE: The road did not go through Bernardstown; at Woodzell, the road went down the side of the mountain, through Saint Mary's School), St. Mary's School, Ralph, Cherry Falls School (where it crossed the Elk River; today this still exists as Cherry Falls Rd), Kingfisher School, Pleasant Ridge School, Upper Glade, Glade View, possibly Cowen, Welch Glade, Little Glade School, Camden-on-Gauley, Cottle Glade School, Craigsville, Beaver, Hicks School, Nile, and the two Armstrong Schools to Summersville.

This is an older version of the Fredericksburg and Valley Plank Road. 1860 maps show that the "old turnpike" and plank road separated.

The Rockingham Turnpike crossed Swift Run Gap.
