Wikipedia:WikiProject US State Legislatures/Stage 2

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The second stage of this project is to add information to the stubs. The following links should be added:

  • A link to the official biography of the politician at his or her state legislature's website.
  • Project Vote Smart biography
  • "Campaign contributions", followed by a link or links to the politician's actual campaign finance report(s).

The CongLinks template works well, even though not all fields apply for all state legislators (although some have run for, or served in, federal offices). Example US Representative Jan Schakowsky:

{{CongLinks | congbio = s001145 | fec = H8IL09067 | opensecrets = N00004724 | followthemoney = 18947 | votesmart = 6387 | ontheissuespath = IL/Jan_Schakowsky.htm | legistorm = 462/Rep_Janice_Schakowsky.html | surge = 621 | govtrack = 400360 | findagrave = }}

Example Illinois State Senator Antonio_Munoz_(American_politician):
